Inline AI text summarizer and slop cutter. Kill the fluff. Read less. Know more. Crispify is a high-speed, neo-brutalist Chrome extension that performs instant INLINE text summarization and de-slopping on any webpage. Highlight repetitive corporate jargon, long-winded essays, or fluffy news articles, and watch Crispify replace the text directly in the DOM with concise, dense facts. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHY CRISPIFY? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Most summarizers force you to copy-paste text into a sidebar or new tab. Crispify transforms the text right where you are reading. ✓ Inline DOM Replacement: Selected text is cleanly swapped with AI bullet points or plain English right in the article flow. ✓ 1-Click Instant Revert: Click "Revert" on any transformed paragraph at any time to restore the original wording. ✓ Ultra-Fast AI Engines: Powered by Groq's LPU running OpenAI GPT-OSS 120B (300+ tokens/sec) with automatic Google Gemini 2.0 Flash fallback. ✓ 100% Free & BYOK: Bring Your Own Key with generous free tiers from Groq and Google AI Studio. No monthly subscriptions, no paywalls. ✓ Zero Telemetry / 100% Local: Your API keys, settings, and summarization history stay strictly inside your browser's local storage. ✓ Neo-Brutalist Typography: Powered by high-contrast styling and the beautiful Sora typeface. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 4 TRANSFORMATION MODES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. CRISP (Default): Cuts 70%+ of filler words while preserving every critical statistic, fact, and argument. 2. DE-SLOP: Detects corporate PR doublespeak, buzzwords, and vague hype, translating them into blunt, honest truth. 3. BULLETS: Converts lengthy blocks of prose into 3-5 punchy takeaway bullet points. 4. ELI5: Translates complex academic, legal, or financial jargon into simple language an elementary student can grasp. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW TO USE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Method 1 (Keyboard Shortcut): • Highlight any text on any webpage. • Press Cmd + Shift + S (or Option + S) on Mac, or Alt + S on Windows/Linux. • The text transforms instantly inline! Method 2 (Floating Action Pill): • Highlight any text. A high-contrast neo-brutalist "CRISPIFY" pill appears near your cursor. • Click the pill or click the dropdown arrow to pick a specific mode. Method 3 (Right-Click Context Menu): • Highlight text, right-click, and select "Crispify Selection". Method 4 (Popup Scratchpad): • Click the Crispify icon in your browser toolbar to open the scratchpad, paste custom text, view summarization metrics, or search your local history. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SETUP & REQUIREMENTS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Crispify includes a built-in 4-step Onboarding Wizard that takes under 30 seconds: 1. Open the extension popup. 2. Follow the direct link to get a 100% free API key from Groq (console.groq.com) or Google Gemini (aistudio.google.com). 3. Paste your key and click "Test & Save". 4.
