Description
Displays Salesforce Org Limits (API, Storage, Events) in a side panel. Monitor your Salesforce Governor Limits in real-time without leaving your browser tab. Salesforce Limit Checker is a lightweight, developer-centric tool designed to provide instant visibility into your Salesforce Organization’s system limits. By utilizing the native Side Panel in Chrome, you can keep a constant eye on critical metrics like Daily API Requests, Data Storage, and Concurrent Apex Requests while you work within your Org. Key Features: Instant Limit Overview: View a comprehensive list of all Salesforce REST API limits in one organized view. Side Panel Integration: Opens in the Chrome Side Panel, allowing you to view limits side-by-side with your active Salesforce tab. Zero Manual Login: Automatically detects your active session from your browser cookies—no need to enter credentials or security tokens. Visual Health Indicators: (Optional: If your app has this) Real-time progress bars or color coding to alert you when you are approaching critical thresholds (e.g., 80% usage). Multi-Org Support: Seamlessly switches context as you navigate between different Production, Sandbox, or Scratch Orgs. Why Use Salesforce Limit Checker? As a Salesforce Admin or Developer, hitting a governor limit can halt integrations or break critical processes. This extension eliminates the need to navigate deep into the "Company Information" or "System Overview" sections of the Salesforce Setup menu, saving you time and preventing unexpected downtime. How it Works: Log in to your Salesforce Org as usual. Open the extension from the Chrome toolbar or Side Panel. The extension retrieves your session token locally to make a secure call to the /services/data/vXX.X/limits endpoint. Your limits are displayed instantly. Security & Privacy: Direct API Communication: All API calls are made directly from your browser to Salesforce. Your data never touches our servers. Minimal Permissions: We only request the cookies and host permissions necessary to authenticate with Salesforce on your behalf. Privacy First: We do not track your browsing history, store your session tokens externally, or collect any personally identifiable information (PII).
