Save original web media and convert images or video frames to PNG, JPEG, and WebP. EZSave makes it easy to save web media you are permitted to download. Right-click an image, GIF, CSS background image, direct image link, or ordinary HTML5 video, then choose EZSave to save the original file or create a PNG, JPEG, or WebP copy. • Save original images, animated GIFs, and directly accessible video files. • Convert images to PNG, JPEG, or WebP at their native decoded dimensions. • Capture the current frame of supported HTML5 videos. • Supports images in <img>, <picture>, and srcset elements, including WebP and AVIF when Chromium can decode them. • Detects common lazy-loaded images, data URLs, page-accessible blob URLs, and CSS background images. • Uses Chromium's standard Save As dialog so the destination and filename remain under your control. • Preserves transparency in PNG and WebP when supported. JPEG output uses a white background for transparent pixels. • Keeps animated GIFs intact when saving the original file. GIF conversion creates a static first-frame image. EZSave does not require an account, include analytics, or use a developer-operated backend. Media is processed in the browser and is requested from its original site only when needed to complete an action selected by the user. The extension requests only the permissions needed for its right-click menu, local conversion workflow, downloads, and access to the media selected on a webpage. HLS and DASH streams are not supported as standalone downloads. Some cross-origin media, protected video, or page-backed blob URLs may be unavailable because of browser or site security restrictions.
