Description
Browse all clips from a Twitch channel with pagination and sorting. 🎬 Twitch Clips Viewer — Browse and Stream Every Streamer's Clip! Have you ever tried to find an old, funny, or most popular clip on Twitch but got lost in the platform's clunky default interface? Twitch Clips Viewer is a powerful and lightweight browser extension that completely changes how you interact with Twitch highlights. The extension fetches absolutely every single clip from a chosen channel using the official Twitch Helix API and organizes them on a dedicated, highly customizable page. No more arbitrary limits — just you, your favorite creators, and terabytes of the best gaming content! --- KEY FEATURES --- 🚀 Full Deep Load The extension automatically cycles through API pages in the background to build a 100% complete database of the channel's clips. Even if a streamer has tens of thousands of clips, the project processes them sequentially so you won't miss a single moment. 📊 High-Capacity Pagination Forget about endless scrolling that bogs down your browser tabs. We implemented an intuitive paging navigation system supporting up to 100 clips per page. Swap between pages instantly with clean "Back" and "Next" controls. 🗂️ Flexible & Client-Side Sorting Organize your viewing feed exactly how you want. Switch on the fly between three reliable sorting presets: * Oldest first: Perfect for a nostalgia trip to see where your favorite streamer started. * Newest first: Stay on top of the freshest highlights clipped within the last few hours or days. * Most popular: Get instant access to the hall of fame, neatly ranked by total views. 🔍 Real-Time Smart Filter Looking for a specific moment or reaction? The built-in search bar works instantaneously as you type. You can instantly filter down hundreds of clips by clip title text or the clip creator's (clipper) username. 🎯 Seamless Twitch Integration Every clip is beautifully presented as a dedicated information card. Clicking any card securely redirects you to the official Twitch platform to watch the clip using its native player. --- HOW IT WORKS: USAGE GUIDE --- Navigating your new hub is incredibly straightforward. You can open and view clips using two different methods: Method 1: Via the Toolbar Popup 1. Click the extension icon in your browser's extension bar. 2. Enter the streamer’s login nickname (e.g., Twitch) or simply paste their full channel link. 3. Click the "Open clips" button to start the dashboard! Method 2: Direct URL Access You can bookmark the viewing board and launch it directly inside your browser by heading to: chrome-extension://<YOUR_EXTENSION_ID>/pages/tracking.html?channel=STREAMER_NAME (Just make sure to swap <YOUR_EXTENSION_ID> with your extension’s actual unique token from the extensions page). --- REQUIRED SETUP (TWITCH API) --- To pull data safely, the app utilizes official security protocols. You will need to hook up your own free developer credentials (takes under 2 minutes): 1. Navigate to the official Twitch Developers Console. 2. Register a new application (select Confidential or Public and generate a Client Secret). 3. Open the extension’s popup options, click on Twitch API settings, fill in your Client ID and Client Secret, and press Save. Note: Your credentials are kept purely locally inside your browser and are never shared with any external servers. --- CHANGELOG: WHAT'S NEW IN V1.1.0 --- We actively refine the app based on active user feedback. In our latest update: 🛡️ Exit Protection: Added a clear confirmation dialog box before closing the clips dashboard. No more losing your loading progress from an accidental click! 🕒 Pinpoint Accuracy: Every single clip card now explicitly displays the exact date and time it was published. 🔗 Smart Link Parsing: No need to manually strip nicknames out of channel URLs anymore. The extension auto-converts direct channel links into text inputs seamlessly. 🚫 Input Validation: Added robust username validation — the system ensures you can only enter valid, existing platform nicknames. 🔄 Resumable Downloads: Fixed a bug causing platform-interrupted downloads to drop — you can now smoothly resume paused clip data fetching. 👤 Profile Fixes: Solved an issue that previously blocked users from viewing clips directly within standard user profiles. ⚡ Performance Boost: Optimized core sorting algorithms. Rearranging thousands of cached clips in memory is now faster, smoother, and lag-free. --- IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTES --- • API Limitations: The Twitch API returns clip data in batches of 100 per request. The extension loops through these pages sequentially. If you are browsing a massive channel with a vast archive, the first initial load may take a moment. Please give it a few seconds to parse — it's well worth the wait! • Memory Sorting: Date-based sorting is handled on your local device's side after all clips have fully loaded into memory. This guarantees flawless accuracy and zero delay when toggling filters. Install Twitch Clips Viewer today and discover your favorite channel's archives like never before! Please leave us a rating and a review if you enjoy using the extension. Your support keeps updates rolling out!
