Background processes only run exactly when needed and sleep otherwise to preserve your battery and memory. Q: Do I need to create an account to use the extension? A: No. L'Amigo is entirely account-free. We believe in privacy-first architecture, so all your tracking data, friends lists, and preferences live locally on your device. Q: Will this slow down my browser performance? A: Not at all. L'Amigo is built with a highly optimized, ultra-lightweight Preact architecture (recently rewritten to be even faster) and strictly adheres to Chrome's Manifest V3 guidelines.
