Keep your campfire alive through seven nights in a handcrafted, offline 3D survival forest. The woods grow quiet. Keep the fire alive. Emberkeep is a compact, single-player 3D survival game viewed from above. Walk through a handcrafted woodland, gather its resources and prepare your camp before the light fades. Feed the hearth with wood, roast berries for a stronger meal, and build a rain shelter. Craft a flint axe for more efficient gathering, take a limited-duration torch on night excursions, or prepare thorn wards as a last defense near camp. Health, hunger and warmth all matter. Rain on days three, five and seven drains the fire faster. At night, creatures approach from the forest and signal an attack before striking. Campfire and torch light repel them. Survive seven nights to reach the eighth sunrise, then continue caring for your camp if you wish. Features - Real WebGL 3D forest, animated character movement, lighting and shadows - Click-to-walk and click-to-gather, with optional WASD movement - Wood, stone, berries and fiber with timed resource regrowth - Campfire fuel, cooking, shelter, torches, axe and thorn wards - Day/night cycles, scheduled rain and light-sensitive night creatures - Seven-night survival objective with a clear ending - Local save/continue, JSON export and validated import - Pause, sound toggle and shadow toggle - Fully bundled offline game with no accounts, advertising or analytics Controls Click the ground to walk, or a resource to approach and gather. WASD also moves. E gathers nearby or tends the campfire, F eats, C opens the crafting notebook and Escape pauses. The Return to camp button walks your character back to the hearth. Runs in its own Chrome tab and needs WebGL-capable hardware acceleration. Keyboard and mouse are recommended. Save files remain local to the browser profile; Export save lets you keep a separate backup.
