Routes this browser's traffic through your Kyrent VPN account over an encrypted HTTPS proxy. Protects this browser profile only. Kyrent VPN routes this browser's traffic through your Kyrent VPN account over an encrypted HTTPS proxy, right from the toolbar. This extension is for existing Kyrent VPN Pro and Dedicated subscribers who want their Chrome traffic protected without switching to the mobile app. It does not create accounts or take payments; it connects to the Kyrent VPN account you already have. How it works: open the Kyrent VPN mobile app, generate a link code, and enter it here to link this browser to your account. Once linked, use the toggle to connect. Pick a location from the list, or leave it on Fastest. The Protocol row always reads HTTPS proxy, since that is the only protocol a browser extension can use. While connected, WebRTC is restricted so it cannot leak your real IP address around the proxy; the WebRTC leak protection row reports this status. Scope, stated plainly: this extension protects only this browser profile's traffic. It does not protect other apps on your device, other browsers, other Chrome profiles, or your system's DNS resolution. For protection outside Chrome, use the Kyrent VPN mobile app. Sign-in and purchases happen in the Kyrent VPN mobile app, not in this extension. This extension has no account-creation flow and no payment flow; it only redeems a link code from an account you manage in the app. Because this extension routes your browsing through a proxy, the proxy necessarily sees the destination hostname and connection metadata of each proxied request, the same as any HTTPS proxy. That is used only to provide the routing feature described here. It is not sold and is not used for advertising. See our privacy policy for the full description of what the extension collects and how it is used: https://kyrent.app/privacy Requires an active Kyrent VPN Pro or Dedicated subscription and Chrome 108 or later. Linking this browser counts as one device on your plan, the same as any other device. If another installed extension also controls Chrome's proxy setting, that extension takes precedence, and the pop-up will show that state. This extension is proxy-only, not the Kyrent VPN app's tunnel, and is less resistant to network-level blocking than the app; on heavily restricted networks, use the mobile app instead.
