Repairs malformed JNLP filenames from legacy remote management consoles before they reach disk. Stop renaming broken Java Web Start downloads by hand. ConsolePatch detects a small set of high-confidence filename problems created by older remote-management consoles and fixes them while Chrome determines the download name. A file such as viewer.jnlp(host@device) becomes the usable viewer.jnlp you expected. The free version can: - remove malformed suffixes after .jnlp; - recover a clear JNLP name from the download URL; - restore .jnlp from an explicit JNLP response type; - keep the latest 10 repairs on this browser; - pause all repairs with one click. ConsolePatch does not read web pages, collect browsing history, inject scripts, or use analytics. The filename rules run locally. It requests the Downloads permission only to suggest a corrected filename and Storage only to remember settings and local history. Common use cases include malformed Java Web Start downloads produced by older iDRAC, iLO, UCS, KVM, and IPMI interfaces. Compatibility depends on the device firmware and its download response.
