Offline field manual, save migration, recovery tools, and direct access to the current ChopShop Inc. game. ChopShop Inc. — Northline Companion is a focused player companion for ChopShop Inc. The extension provides useful player tools directly inside the installed extension: A complete offline field manual covering the garage-management game and Northline After Dark. The field manual is available in all 30 supported game languages. Legacy packaged-extension save detection and export, so older progress can be moved into the current game. Terminal diagnostics showing whether the dedicated game window is open and when it was last launched. A safe terminal-reference reset for recovery after a browser crash or forced shutdown without deleting game progress. Direct access to the current published ChopShop Inc. game in a dedicated game window. Current-game launch Click the ChopShop Inc. toolbar icon to open the current published game directly. The companion does not depend on clicking or scraping the Altru.dev webpage. Instead, it uses the same current-playable server state used by the PLAY control on the ChopShop Inc. page. That means a newly installed ChopShop Inc. PWA release can become the game opened by the companion without bundling the game engine inside the extension or requiring a routine extension update. If the game window is already open, clicking the extension again focuses that existing window without reloading the player's current screen. Two connected games ChopShop Inc. combines two connected experiences in one persistent world: Northline garage management Run the garage, hire and train specialists, acquire and process vehicles, take legitimate repair work, manage Heat and Evidence, expand the shop, use the Market and Network, complete Contracts, and create custom Builds. Northline After Dark Follow the interactive mystery at your own pace. Story decisions can wait while the management game continues running independently. Privacy and permissions The companion requests only Chrome's Storage permission. It is used for companion state, terminal diagnostics, and migration of saves from the previous packaged extension. The extension has: no host permissions no content scripts no scripting permission no browsing-history access no analytics or advertising telemetry no remotely hosted JavaScript executed as extension code The game itself is not duplicated inside the extension. Gameplay is provided by the current published ChopShop Inc. PWA, while the field manual, save-migration tools, diagnostics, and recovery controls are packaged directly in the extension.
