Record browser steps into an SOP with screenshots, stored on your device. Typed input is masked. Export HTML/Markdown. No account. Turn what you do in the browser into a step-by-step guide with screenshots — without uploading anything. Local SOP Recorder captures each click as a step with a screenshot and a short description. Edit the titles and notes, delete what you don't need, and export the finished guide as HTML or Markdown. Everything stays on your device: no account, no cloud, no sharing link. Use it for client handover notes, onboarding docs, internal SOPs, support replies, and "how do I do this again?" checklists. WHY LOCAL Many step-recorder tools upload every screenshot to their cloud. When the screens contain customer data, admin panels, or internal tools, that may not be acceptable. Local SOP Recorder never sends screenshots, URLs, or text anywhere. FEATURES • Records clicks on links, buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdowns as readable steps • Records that you typed in a field — never what you typed • Masks input and selection fields in every screenshot • "+ Add current screen" button for steps that don't involve a click • Edit step titles and notes, delete single steps or whole guides • Export to HTML (with screenshots) or Markdown • Store up to 20 guides with up to 30 steps each in your browser PRIVACY No account, cloud storage, analytics, ads, or external network requests. Screenshots, URLs (with query strings and fragments removed), and step text are saved in Chrome's local storage only. Information shown outside input fields (names, inboxes, customer details) can't be detected automatically — review the screens and delete any step that should not be shared before exporting. LIMITATIONS • Captures the visible area only (no full-page scrolling screenshots, video, or desktop apps) • Step descriptions are generated automatically; edit them as needed • When 20 guides are saved, delete one before recording a new guide. Old guides are never deleted automatically. The interface follows your browser language (English or Japanese).
