Description
Will that sofa fit? Check a couch or sectional against your doors, hallway, stairs and room before you buy. Inches or cm. Will that sofa fit through the door? Will a sectional fit in your living room? Lakely Sofa Size & Room Fit Calculator answers both before you buy, right from your browser toolbar. WAY IN: DOORS, HALLWAYS AND STAIRS Enter your door width and height, your hallway width and, if you have them, your stairs and ceiling height. The calculator checks whether the couch gets through the doorway, around the turn from the hallway and up the stairs or a landing, and tells you how many inches you have to spare. Results are color coded: fits, very tight, or too big. ANY SOFA, OR A LAKELY MODULAR SOFA • Measure your own sofa, loveseat or sectional: width, depth and height. • Or pick one of the Lakely modular sofas. The calculator uses the real box sizes from our product specs and checks every box it ships in, because a modular sectional travels in pieces and is put together in the room. ROOM FIT: SEE IT IN YOUR ROOM Add the wall length and room depth to get a simple top view of the sofa in the room, the space left along the wall and the floor left in front of it. Add a coffee table depth to check the walkway with common designer rules of thumb (a 14 in gap to the table, about 30 in to walk through). LAYOUT TIPS Quick advice for a small living room, a family room with movie nights, an open-plan space, a guest room, and how to tell a left-facing chaise from a right-facing one. Each tip links to matching L-shaped, U-shaped, curved, sleeper and small-space sofas on lakelyhome.com. GOOD TO KNOW • Inches or centimeters, switch in one click. • Your last measurements are remembered on your device only. • No sign-up, no ads, no tracking, and no browser permissions needed. • Results are estimates for a sofa carried flat. Always measure twice, and remember that taking a door off its hinges can buy you room. Made by Lakely, the modular sofa specialist: lakelyhome.com
