Automated classroom focus controls that help keep students on task on Chromebooks. FocusLimits helps schools keep students on task by adding a behavior-aware classroom focus layer on top of existing web filtering. Unlike traditional content filters that mainly rely on categories, blocked lists, and domain rules, FocusLimits is designed to respond to off-task browsing behavior during class time. It can detect things like game-related searches, attempts to visit distracting sites, and game-like browsing patterns, then respond automatically based on school-defined settings. FocusLimits is not a replacement for a school content filter. It is a lightweight supplemental tool designed to help teachers and administrators reduce classroom distraction and encourage student focus on managed Chromebooks.
