LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN Safarian has no analytics, ads, account system, or developer-operated server. Chrome data is used only to render the features you choose. Gemini Nano is the private default. Recall always runs locally. Smart Recent Tabs and Continue also run locally unless you explicitly enable Gemini Flash with your own API key and accept the disclosure. In optional cloud mode, eligible titles, domains, URL paths, timing, and activity counts go directly from Chrome to Google’s Gemini API—never to Safarian’s developer. Each feature makes at most one automatic full Flash review per Chrome session; later changes are patched locally when Nano is available. AI suggestions stay grounded in real Chrome sessions and history. Safarian never invents destination pages, and weak Continue results stay hidden.
