Hide watched videos, classify subscriptions, auto-refresh subscriptions, and jump live streams to LIVE on resume. YouTube Toolbox helps you organize YouTube Home, watch pages, and the Subscriptions feed so you can find the videos you want. Main features: • Hide watched videos from recommendations once they reach your chosen watched-percentage threshold. • Individually hide Home mixes, playlists, podcasts, posts, promotional shelves, Playables, "More topics," and "Get more out of your memberships." • Hide the Home and Shorts links in the left menu. Shorts badges on thumbnails remain visible. • Hide members-only recommendations when the extension can confirm that a membership you do not have is required. • Hide the "Strongly related" section on Japanese-language YouTube. • Filter subscriptions by Videos, Live, Archives, Upcoming premieres, or All, with an option to separate scheduled live streams. • Hide specific channels without unsubscribing. Choose from your subscriptions, enter a channel URL or @handle, or use the button on a video card. Restore hidden channels at any time, and optionally hide them from Home and related-video recommendations too. • Choose 1–12 videos per row in the Subscriptions feed. • Automatically refresh subscriptions every 1–60 minutes, optionally only while the tab is inactive. • Keep the playlist panel expanded in fullscreen and preserve its scroll position when entering or leaving fullscreen. • Use the LIVE-AUTO button to jump back to the live edge when resuming a paused live stream. • Search selected text on YouTube from the right-click menu. This feature can be turned off. • Block channels, individual videos, words in titles, or words in channel names. Blocking is a beta feature and is off by default. • Manage your preferences in six settings tabs, with English and Japanese interfaces. • Share hidden-channel and block lists through Chrome sync. Optionally connect Google Drive to share settings and lists across computers and Chrome profiles, with separate sync choices for each list. • Export and import settings and lists as a JSON file. What's new in version 1.3.0: • More Home filters and optional hidden-channel filtering in recommendations. • Channel, video, title-word, and channel-name-word blocking (beta). • Chrome sync for lists, optional Google Drive sync, account selection, and settings sync through Drive. • A dedicated Sync tab with separate sync choices, capacity information, and error messages. • JSON export and import, plus settings organized into six tabs. • Shorts thumbnail badges now remain visible when the Shorts menu link is hidden. Privacy and data: The extension has no developer server and does not send your settings, lists, watch history, or account information to the developer. It does not sell your data or send it to advertising or analytics services. Settings are stored in Chrome sync storage. Hidden-channel and block lists are stored locally and shared through the sync paths you select. Google Drive sync is optional and uses only the extension's private appDataFolder; it does not access your regular Drive files. You can choose a Google account independently of Chrome sign-in to share settings and lists across profiles. For the account-picker connection, the selected email address is stored locally for display and reconnection. Its access token is kept temporarily in browser memory, not written to disk or exported. Cookie values and passwords are never read or stored. Some features communicate with YouTube to check whether members-only videos are playable, look up public channel information, or read your subscriptions when you explicitly request it. Playability checks do not play videos. Imported settings and lists follow your selected sync paths.
