Blocks ads, trackers, and popups on YouTube and other websites using network-level filtering. Jas AdBlock is a free, lightweight ad blocker that works the moment you install it — no setup, no account, no configuration required. WHAT IT BLOCKS • Ads and trackers on every site, using a curated network-level blocklist • Ad containers served from a page's own domain, hidden with a small built-in list of CSS rules (network blocking alone can't reach these) • Popup and pop under ads, the moment a script tries to open them • YouTube video ads — detected, muted, fast-forwarded, and skipped automatically, with anti-AdBlock nag dialogs dismissed for you SIMPLE, ONE-CLICK CONTROLS • A single toolbar toggle turns blocking on or off for every site • A per-site switch lets you allow ads on any one site without uninstalling or reconfiguring anything • A dedicated popup-blocker toggle, independent of the main ad blocker • See exactly how much is being blocked — right now on this tab, and the running total overall — plus a per-site breakdown in Options • Export or import your allowed-sites list as a JSON file, so it travels with you across a reinstall or another machine YOUTUBE AD REMOVAL The extension rewrites YouTube's own player data to remove ad placements outright, so most ads never load at all instead of loading and then being skipped. Can be turned off in the extension's Options page if preferred. PRIVACY Jas AdBlock collects no data. It makes no network requests of its own beyond an optional, once-a-day check for updated ad/tracker domains (off unless you're aware of it — see the privacy policy), uses no analytics, and never sends anything you do to us or anyone else. Your settings sync through Chrome's own built-in sync, the same way your bookmarks do — never through a server we run.
