Smooth hands-free scrolling that pauses when you take control. GlideScroll keeps long pages moving at a comfortable, adjustable pace so you can read without repeatedly reaching for the mouse or trackpad. Start scrolling from the toolbar, choose a speed, and keep reading. GlideScroll automatically looks for the most useful visible scrolling area. If a page contains an article, comments panel, feed, or another independently scrolling section, use Choose area to select exactly what should move. GlideScroll stays out of your way: • Smooth, frame-synchronized scrolling • Adjustable speed with useful presets • Automatic detection of the main scrolling area • Manual selection for nested panels • Immediate pause when you wheel, touch, click, or use navigation keys • A compact on-page control for pause, speed, and stop • Brief waiting at the bottom for lazy-loaded content • Keyboard controls: Space to pause or resume, Esc to stop Privacy is part of the design. GlideScroll runs only after you invoke it on the active tab. Page detection happens locally in the browser. There are no accounts, analytics, ads, remote scripts, or network requests, and no browsing history or page content is sent to the developer. Chrome does not allow extensions to run on internal Chrome pages, the Chrome Web Store, or some built-in document viewers.
