Offline experimental low-frequency phase-inversion audio for a microphone and speaker. PhaseGuard ANC is an experimental, offline audio tool that sends a live microphone signal through a low-frequency filter, reverses its polarity by 180 degrees, limits the output level, and plays the result through your default audio output. Click Start once to begin. The local audio engine continues running after the popup closes and remains active until you click Stop or close Chrome. An ON badge makes the active state visible. FEATURES • One-click start and an explicit stop control • Live 180-degree polarity inversion • Adjustable output strength with a conservative default • Adjustable low-cut and high-cut filters • Optional compensation delay for experimentation • Background operation using a Chrome offscreen document • Completely local processing with no account, analytics, server, or network request • Microphone audio is never recorded, stored, uploaded, or shared IMPORTANT LIMITATION PhaseGuard ANC is an audio experiment, not a replacement for hardware active-noise-cancelling headphones. Chrome, the operating system, microphone placement, speaker distance, and room reflections introduce latency. The inverse signal may provide weak or highly localized cancellation, have no audible effect, or reinforce the original sound. It is best suited to experiments with steady low-frequency hum. Begin with a low speaker volume. Stop immediately if you hear ringing, feedback, or an uncomfortable increase in volume.
