Extra BattleMetrics info for Rust players — name history, server stats, and Steam profile lookup. Provide your own API token. Fire Eye BM adds useful Rust player details on BattleMetrics profile pages. When you open a player page (battlemetrics.com/players/…), the extension loads extra data from the BattleMetrics API and shows a clean panel with: • Name history — previous names with last-seen times • Rust servers — online servers first, then highest playtime • Total hours — sum of playtime across that player’s Rust servers • Connect button — copies client.connect ip:port for quick joins HOW TO USE 1. Install Fire Eye BM from the Chrome Web Store 2. Click the extension icon and paste your BattleMetrics API token 3. Click Save token (the token stays hidden afterward) 4. Open any BattleMetrics player profile 5. The Fire Eye panel appears above the native Servers section WHERE TO GET A TOKEN Log in to BattleMetrics → Account / developer API access, then create or copy your personal API token (JWT). Paste it into the extension popup. The token is stored only in Chrome local storage on your device. NOTES • Focused on Facepunch Rust servers • Works with BattleMetrics SPA navigation (no full reload needed) • Your token is never sent to us — requests go directly to api.battlemetrics.com • Not affiliated with BattleMetrics, Facepunch, or Rust
rating_count is the Chrome Web Store ratings count, not a written-review count.
