See where your AI queries actually go. All analysis stays on your device. Every time you use an AI chatbot, your browser sends hundreds of requests carrying data about what you're doing. These requests travel to data centers around the world, each operating under different privacy laws. Over Your Shoulder shows you where. HOW IT WORKS Over Your Shoulder is a passive observer. It watches your browser's outgoing requests to AI services and builds a daily picture of your data exposure. Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent to us. WHAT YOU GET A shareable badge with your daily exposure score from 0 to 100, based on four factors: - Volume of requests your browser made to AI services - Category diversity (email, code, documents, finance, communications…) - Geography of where your data physically traveled - Continuity of your AI usage over time A detailed 8-page PDF report covering: - Today's full breakdown by vendor, hour, and destination - Score evolution over time - A world map of everywhere your data went - The legal frameworks that apply once your data crosses borders - Methodology and glossary WHAT WE OBSERVE Only metadata: timestamps, destination hostnames, truncated paths, the tab that made the request, and the endpoint type (AI service vs. embedded monitoring). WHAT WE DO NOT OBSERVE Never: request bodies, responses, authentication tokens, cookies, session IDs, file attachments, IP addresses, or the content of any conversation. We cannot read what you type or what the AI replies. We only see the shape of your activity, not its substance. PRIVACY BY DESIGN - All data stays in your browser's local storage - No external servers, no analytics, no tracking - Data rotates out after 30 days automatically - Open source, auditable code WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants to understand where their AI-related data actually goes. Useful for professionals handling sensitive information, privacy-conscious users, journalists, security researchers, and anyone curious about the infrastructure behind everyday AI tools.
