Inspect known tracker resources on the active tab locally, then continue to RegSentry for an authorized full browser scan. RegSentry Tracker Snapshot helps you review resource URLs on one tab before deciding whether to run a separate, authorized RegSentry browser scan. Data disclosure: Only after you click “Inspect this tab,” the extension reads the active tab’s URL and hostname, Performance Resource Timing URLs, source URLs on script, frame, image, and link elements, and whether common consent-banner markup is present. Matching happens locally against a fixed vendor-pattern list bundled with the extension. It does not read page text, cookies, form values, browsing history, private files, or other tabs. It has no analytics, advertising, account sign-in, remote configuration, server, or persistent storage. The snapshot shows: - known vendor patterns; - unique resource URLs visible at capture time; - whether common consent-related markup is present; - matched vendor names and categories; and - a copyable local findings report. Vendor rows offer a Guide link only when RegSentry has a corresponding guide page. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager intentionally have no Guide link. “Copy domain & open scan” copies the hostname and opens RegSentry’s public checker without attaching or submitting the hostname or findings. You must paste the hostname, confirm authorization, and submit the form yourself. Capture begins when you click, after the page may already have loaded. The snapshot cannot establish which requests fired before consent, and a missing match is not a clean-scan certification. Results are technical observations—not legal advice, a compliance determination, or proof of a violation.
