A side-panel voice notepad — press record and your spoken words become editable notes that save automatically. Chatterbox turns your voice into notes, right beside whatever you're reading. Open the side panel, press Record, and start talking. Your words appear as clean, editable text you can fix, copy, save, or clear. • Lives in Chrome's side panel — your notes stay open next to the page you're working on. • Press-and-talk simplicity — one big record button and an empty screen that's just "tap to record". • Editable text — click in and fix a word; the cursor stays where you put it. • Auto-saves as you go — close the tab or Chrome and your notes are waiting when you come back. • Copy or download — send your notes to the clipboard or save them as a .txt file. • No auto switch off, allowing you to speak freely for as long as you like, even when Chrome is minimised. • Light and dark themes — it remembers your choice. • Live word count and a real-time microphone level meter. HOW IT WORKS Chatterbox uses Chrome's built-in speech recognition to convert what you say into text. Your notes are stored locally in your browser — they are never sent to us. PRIVACY Speech recognition is provided by your browser's built-in service (Google), which processes your spoken audio to produce the text. Chatterbox itself does not record, store, or transmit your audio.
