AIbar is a browser side panel that lets you work with multiple AI assistants at once - right inside your browser. KEY FEATURES - Multi-pane layouts: Use single, split, triple, or grid view to see multiple AI conversations side by side. - Broadcast prompts: Type once, send to all your open AI chats simultaneously. - Ask Active Page: Automatically capture a webpage's text, HTML, and screenshot, then send it to your AI for instant analysis. - Region capture: Select any area of a page and send it directly to an AI assistant with quick-action prompts (Ctrl+Shift+X). - Built-in API chat: Connect your own API key to chat with hundreds of models via a built-in interface. - Custom providers: Add any web-based AI chat service with a custom URL and input selector. - Zero data collection: Your API keys and sessions stay local in your browser. Nothing is sent to external servers. HOW IT WORKS Open AIbar from the browser toolbar. Pick an AI service from the sidebar, and it loads in a side panel. Switch between services with one click, or open multiple at once using split or grid layouts. Use the broadcast bar at the bottom to send a prompt to all active chats simultaneously. The Ask Active Page feature lets you capture any webpage's content (text, HTML, screenshots) and send it directly to an AI for analysis - all without leaving your current tab. PRIVACY AIbar does not collect, transmit, or store any user data externally. All settings and API keys are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
