Description

Forwards *.btc addresses by looking up the website field of the plebname in the Bitcoin mainchain. Prefix 'https:' to avoid search. When you input a link ending with '.btc' this extension does a quick lookup in the Bitcoin mainchain via some bitcoin explorers (https://mempool.space/api, https://blockchain.info, https://blockstream.info/ or https://btcscan.org/). If the name in front of '.btc' is a claimed plebname and has a 'website' field noted in an OP_RETURN of the owner this extension forwards you to that website, otherwise the plebname tool site is displayed. Tip: Prefix 'https:' to avoid being forwarded to the search engine.
