Export a Canvas course roster to a printable attendance sheet (Excel, PDF, or direct print). Canvas Attendance Exporter adds a one-click "Export Attendance Roster" button to any Canvas course roster page. Instead of building an attendance spreadsheet by hand or fighting Excel's print scaling, generate a ready-to-use attendance grid in seconds. Pick a date range and which days of the week your class meets, and the extension builds: • Excel workbook — a styled, print-friendly spreadsheet split into 4-week tabs • PDF — landscape, letter-size, auto-fitting as many weeks per page as stay legible (typically 4–8, depending on how often your class meets) • Direct print — the same layout, sent straight to your browser's print dialog The roster is read directly from the Canvas page you're already viewing — no separate login or API key needed. Your last-used date range and class days are remembered, so re-exporting for a different course is just a couple of clicks. Works with any Canvas/Instructure instance. After installing, open the extension's settings and add your school's Canvas domain. Nothing runs on any site until you explicitly add it there. Privacy: this extension makes no network requests and sends no data anywhere. Everything happens locally in your browser — the roster is read from the page you're already on, and the exported file is saved directly to your computer.
