Upload documents and PDFs to your own self-hosted Paperless-ngx from the toolbar or a right-click. No browsing-history access. Save to Paperless puts your Paperless-ngx document inbox in the browser toolbar. Send a file, or the PDF you are looking at, straight to your own Paperless server in one click, without leaving the page you are on. Built for people who self-host Paperless-ngx and want a clean, English, privacy-respecting uploader, instead of broad-permission add-ons that ask to read your browsing history. What it does - Pick a file in the popup and upload it to Paperless. - "Send current tab" uploads the PDF or file open in the active tab. - Right-click a page and choose "Send page to Paperless". - Add an optional title per upload. - Works with any Paperless-ngx server over its REST API. Least-privilege by design - Requests only the "storage", "activeTab", and "contextMenus" permissions, plus access to the one Paperless server you enter, granted at runtime. - No access to your browsing history, and no background access to your tabs. It reads the current tab's address only at the moment you ask it to send that tab. - Your server URL and API token are stored locally in your browser and are sent only to your own Paperless server. No analytics, no telemetry, no third parties. - Small, dependency-free, and readable, so you can audit every line. Setup 1. In Paperless, open your profile, then My Profile, and generate an API token. 2. Open the extension's Settings, enter your Paperless URL and token, and approve access to that one server.
