Fill passwords from your AshurVault vault. AshurVault fills and saves passwords from your AshurVault. This extension is the browser half of AshurVault, a password manager for Windows. It does not store passwords itself and it has no account to sign in to. It talks to the AshurVault application running on the same computer, and that application keeps your vault in a single encrypted file on your own disk. Nothing is sent to us. There is no cloud, no sync service and no telemetry. What it does • Fills your username and password on sites you have saved, matched against the exact address rather than a guess at the domain • Offers to save a login after you sign in somewhere new, and to update one when a password changes • Fills one-time codes for accounts with two-factor authentication • Lets you tell it never to ask again on a particular site What it needs The AshurVault application for Windows must be installed and unlocked. The extension cannot read your vault on its own, and does nothing at all while the application is locked. AshurVault is a paid application with a free seven-day trial. The extension itself is free. Privacy The extension never sends anything to a server. Page addresses, usernames and passwords travel only between this extension and the AshurVault application on your own machine, over the browser's native messaging channel.
