It replaces the new-tab page and is also available in the side panel, giving you a calm layout of widgets from anywhere in the browser. WIDGETS World Clock — Your local time plus any number of pinned zones. Search by city name, timezone abbreviation, or UTC offset. Each zone shows how far ahead or behind your local time it is. Focus Timer — A Pomodoro-style work-and-break timer with session tracking. Checklist — Quick task capture with inline editing, progress percentage, and clear-completed. Notes — An auto-saving text pad for scratch thinking. Bookmarks — Save your own web links as one-click tiles. You choose what to add. Weather — Current conditions and a short forecast. Uses your location (with permission) or a city name you enter. Photo Frame — Pin a personal photo to your dashboard. Preserves aspect ratio. WORKSPACES Organize widgets into as many named workspaces as you like. Each workspace holds its own layout. Rename with a double-click, drag to reorder. TWO SURFACES Your widgets appear both on the new tab and in the Chrome side panel. Widgets and preferences are shared; each surface has its own arrangement.
