Enforces per-website daily time limits. Requires the Parent Web Limits agent service. Chrome and Edge only. Parent Web Limits is a parental control extension that enforces daily time limits on specific websites. This extension works together with the Parent Web Limits Windows agent installed on the same device. It does not function independently and requires the local agent service to be running. Key features: • Enforce daily time limits per website • Display advance warning notifications (e.g., 10-minute and 2-minute alerts) • Automatically block sites once the daily limit is reached • Support “request more time” workflow between child and parent • Operate in regular and incognito browsing modes (when enabled) How it works: The extension monitors the active browser tab to determine which site is currently in use and tracks time while the tab is active and the browser window is not minimized. When the configured daily limit is reached, the site is blocked locally. All communication occurs locally between the extension and the Parent Web Limits agent running on the same Windows device (localhost). No browsing data is transmitted to external servers as part of the current functionality. Important: • Requires installation of the Parent Web Limits Windows agent. • Designed for parental supervision and responsible use. • Not intended for covert monitoring. This extension is part of the Parent Web Limits system.
