Checks the active website locally to select your Notewarp writing style. Saved mappings sync with your account. Notewarp for Chrome automatically selects the right writing style in the Notewarp Mac app when the active website matches a website mapping you created. How it works: • Create website-to-writing-style mappings in Notewarp for macOS. • Connect the extension to the app with the local connection code. • Switch tabs or navigate normally. If the active website matches one of your mappings, Notewarp selects that style for your next recording. Your browsing stays private: • Only the active tab’s address is checked. • Websites that do not match one of your mappings are discarded. • A matching website domain is shared only with the Notewarp app on the same Mac. • Everything is processed locally. • Browsing history and page content are never processed or stored. • Website addresses are never sent to Notewarp’s servers. • No advertising, analytics, remote code, page injection, or toolbar button. Chrome may describe the required tab permission as access to browsing activity. That permission is needed to recognize tab changes automatically. Notewarp uses it only for the website writing-style mappings described above. Requires Notewarp for macOS.
