Seesaw Sidebar extension for parents. Seesaw sidebar Parents Extension for Google Chrome What’s new in 1.3 Badge updates no longer depend on opening the sidebar. 1.3 also follows current Chrome Manifest V3 rules for offscreen documents and service workers. Unread badge is refreshed in the background (notifications + messages, cap 99+). Hidden Seesaw check uses a phone-sized offscreen iframe so nav badges can actually render. Content script keeps watching the page instead of sending one delayed count and stopping. Toolbar click uses sidePanel.setPanelBehavior so the sidebar opens reliably if the service worker was asleep. Ignores Chrome’s expected Offscreen document closed before fully loading race when a check finishes early. Requires a recent Chromium browser (Chrome / Edge). Manifest V3. --- 1. Add a Seesaw icon to the Toolbar, clicking this icon will open the sidebar. 2. Display the Seesaw website as a Side Panel in mobile view. 3.
