Extra utilities for TryHackMe rooms, starting with full room leaderboards. TryHackMe Utilities adds a detailed room leaderboard view to TryHackMe room pages. Open a TryHackMe room and click the extension icon. The room code is detected automatically, and the extension loads the room’s public leaderboard data in a searchable table. Current features: • Displays numeric leaderboard ranks, usernames or teams, levels, scores, and completion information. • Shows each question as a separate column with its score, number of attempts, timeCorrect value, and answeredBy information when provided by TryHackMe. • Displays TryHackMe’s separate timeScored ranking timestamp. • Supports individual and team/event leaderboard response formats. • Automatically loads leaderboard results through the signed-in user’s position when available. • Provides a “Load more users” option for additional entries. • Detects rooms where TryHackMe exposes only the top 500 entries and reports that limitation clearly. • Requests public leaderboard data without sending TryHackMe authentication cookies. Privacy: The extension reads the active TryHackMe room URL to detect the room code. If the user is signed in, it reads the TryHackMe “thm-ud” cookie locally only to identify and highlight that user’s public leaderboard entry. The developer does not receive or store room codes, cookies, account information, or leaderboard data. The extension has no analytics, advertising, telemetry, or developer-operated backend service. TryHackMe Utilities is a free and open-source community project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by TryHackMe.
