Blocks ads and known trackers for a cleaner browsing experience. BlockAds is a lightweight ad and tracker blocker designed to provide a cleaner and less distracting browsing experience. Main features: • Blocks advertising requests using Chrome's Declarative Net Request API. • Blocks requests to known tracking and analytics services. • Removes or hides advertising elements and empty ad spaces on webpages. • Lets you enable or disable protection globally or for individual websites. • Displays blocking statistics for the current page. • Remembers your site-specific protection preferences. • Includes an optional problem reporting feature for websites where ads are not blocked correctly. • Stores extension settings and blocking statistics locally whenever possible. BlockAds does not inject advertisements, sell your browsing activity, or use your browsing behavior to build advertising profiles. Problem reports are sent only when you explicitly choose to submit one. Reports contain the website domain, your description of the problem, and the installed BlockAds version. Full page URLs are not included.
