ForexFactory news on your TradingView chart: impact lines, alerts and Actual/Forecast/Previous. Built for traders who plan around the news. Economic releases drive most intraday volatility, and Red News plots every scheduled Forex Factory event straight onto your TradingView chart. It works as a Forex Factory calendar overlay, which keeps you off a second screen and out of a separate calendar tab. Each release gets a vertical line at its exact time, colored by impact, so you can see what is coming and get an alert before it lands. News lines appear on your chart right away, and everything below is optional tuning in Settings. • See only the red-folder events: in the impact filter, keep High on and switch Medium, Low, and Holiday off. • Match your instrument: the currency filter follows your chart symbol automatically, or switch to manual and pick the currencies yourself. • Focus on what is close: turn off History and Future, and the chart shows only the events around now. • Start your day informed: before you read the chart, open the list and check Today, or Week to look further ahead. • Trade intraday with a heads-up: set an alert a few minutes before each release and turn on sound and desktop notifications, so a print never catches you mid-trade. • Prop-firm and funded traders: with High impact on and an alert set, you can manage event risk and know exactly when to flatten or stand aside before news hits. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW • The calendar refreshes on its own about every half hour, so you rarely need the refresh button. Use it only when you want the latest right now. • Just installed, or switched symbols? Data can take a moment to arrive. If lines do not show up, wait a few seconds, then scroll or zoom the chart to trigger a redraw. • Still nothing on the chart?
