UnTXT shows you every one of them before anyone else looks, because it highlights each phrase that reads as machine written whenever you select some text and run a check from the right click menu. Unlike checkers that hand you a bare score, it marks each passage AUTHENTIC or SUSPECT and tells you why. Eleven signals run behind the scenes — vocabulary spikes, syntax habits, hedging, templates, rhetoric, puffery and more, the patterns reviewers hunt for when they suspect a draft — and their combined verdict is what you see. Click a highlight and see the reasoning behind it. A short note explains the flag in plain English, and instead of leaving you there, the rewrite flow drops the phrase back into the editor so you can rework it until the wording feels like yours again. Students run coursework and applications through it, while professionals vet reports and letters. To be clear, the verdict stays qualitative rather than numeric, so you learn what sounds human and what needs work. Five checks are free, and no account is needed. Anonymous analysis stays on your device, while signing in adds the enhanced signals and a saved history on the UnTXT site.
