Shows while browsing whether brands have confirmed an online shop as an Authorized Partner via authorized.by. The authorized.by browser extension shows you instantly while shopping online whether brands have confirmed a shop as an Authorized Partner. How it works • Automatic check: When you open a website, the extension compares the domain with the authorized.by directory of brand-confirmed Authorized Partners. • Toolbar indicator: For Authorized Partners, the authorized.by mark appears in blue with a green dot. • Overview in one click: logo, rating, TÜV-ShopIdent, contact details and all brands that have confirmed the shop – in the familiar “Ask the Brand” format. • Confirmed live: The status is checked directly with authorized.by when you open the overview. • Product context: On product pages, the extension detects the product’s brand and shows whether this brand has confirmed the shop. • Certificate: Direct link to the tamper-proof authorized.by certificate. Please note Confirmations come exclusively from the brands themselves. If there is no confirmation, the display stays neutral – this is not a statement about a shop’s trustworthiness.
