Reads the conversation you are looking at and drafts a reply with your own local twin. Nothing leaves this machine. DT Life is the browser half of the DT Life desktop app. It reads the page or conversation you are looking at and drafts a reply in your own voice — using a language model that runs on your own machine. REQUIRES THE DT LIFE DESKTOP APP This extension does nothing on its own. It is a companion to DT Life for Windows, which runs the model locally. Without the app installed and paired, the extension will tell you so and stop. You can get the app at https://dtlife.shop/dt-life/ WHAT IT DOES • Read this page and draft a reply — reads what is on screen and writes a response you can edit before sending. • Explain the opening like I'm 5 — a plain-language explanation of what a dense page is actually saying. • Add a note first — tell it anything it should know before it drafts, such as the tone you want or the answer you have in mind. • Keyboard shortcuts — Alt+Shift+D to draft a reply, Alt+Shift+E to explain the page. Both are also on the right-click menu. NOTHING LEAVES THIS MACHINE The page text is sent to 127.0.0.1 — your own computer — and nowhere else. There is no account, no sign-in, no telemetry, no analytics, and no server belonging to us in the path. The model runs locally, so drafts work with the network unplugged. The extension talks only to the local address you set in Options. It cannot reach any other host. SETTING IT UP 1. Install DT Life and open it. 2. Go to Data & privacy → Browser extension and copy the pairing token. 3. Open this extension's Options and paste the token, then Save & test. The token exists so that only your browser can reach your twin. Other programs on the machine cannot use the local connection without it.
