Discretely hides AI-generated posts on your LinkedIn to declutter and focus your timeline. Fast and 100% private. RealFeed is a focus tool for LinkedIn. In an ever growing sea of AI generated content, it analyses each post on your feed at lightning speed - fully locally and privately on your device - and, those which are flagged, get discretely collapsed for a more human experience. RealFeed does not manipulate your LinkedIn feed, it just gently collapses AI posts according to a likelihood threshold you can adjust yourself. RealFeed is a tool built by a Human for other Humans. ————————————————————————————————————————————— The philosophy behind RealFeed is simple: most of Us are either tired of increasing AI generated content on our feeds or are worried we can't understand the difference between a real human interaction and an AI-led one. It's about going back to honest thoughts and conversations, being intentional and authentic about the people you choose to interact with. The metrics used to evaluate the likelihood of being an AI generated post are statistical in nature, RealFeed doesn't collapse posts based on their semantical nature (their "meaning"). RealFeed will collapse (not fully hide) all posts which are estimated to be written by AI with X% of confidence (X in this case is defined by the user as a value between 0 and 100, starting at 50). You can hover over the question mark icon on each collapsed post to see its score and the main indicators. We just want to reduce the artificial things in our lives and that includes our LinkedIn feeds. It isn't perfect so some false flags will certainly occur, but this is why we built-in a selector for you to easily adjust based on your personal preference. ————————————————————————————————————————————— How it Works It evaluates all the posts on the feed according to a set of deterministic, statistical metrics (at least 10). These are complementary and, sometimes, they point in different directions, in an attempt to reach a more nuanced, balanced view. These assessments involve things like: token frequency, sentence length variations, writing patterns, etc. So there is no semantical assessment (that is we don't collapse posts based on content, tone or message), for example: the usage of slang won't affect the RealFeed score because it's about tone and we don't analyse based on that. ————————————————————————————————————————————— Data and Privacy We take your privacy very very seriously. We do not spy, collect, steal, or sell your data. We don't store any private identifiable information at all. That said, we do want to improve RealFeed and knowing how many times it's used and how many posts are filtered out helps us achieve that. These are only counts (sums), the content of posts is not stored at any moment anywhere, neither locally nor remotely. You can easily opt-out of even these anonymous analytics and keep everything 100% local on your browser with a single click. Just click on the extension on your toolbar and a popup will appear. Toggle off the "Send anonymous usage data" and that's it.
