A game release. A movie premiere. A wedding. A trip. A product launch. The day your contract ends. You pick the date, and every new tab shows you how close it is. WHAT YOU GET • Multiple countdowns — create as many events as you need and switch between them from the footer • Six original themes — Vice, Onyx, Cinema, Console, Confetti and Kraft, each with its own artwork, typography and palette • Your own backgrounds — add up to 10 images per event; with more than one, they crossfade with a slow zoom every 10 seconds • Days, hours, minutes and seconds, plus a progress bar running from the day you started counting • Settings live inside the new tab itself — press S to open, Esc to close • English and Portuguese, following your browser's language PRIVACY LaunchTab has no server. It makes no network requests at all. There is no account, no sign-up, no telemetry, no analytics and no ads. It asks for exactly one permission: storage. That is what lets your countdowns still be there when you open the next tab. Your event names and dates go to Chrome's own sync storage, so they follow you to your other computers — the same mechanism Chrome uses for your bookmarks. Your background images never leave the device they were added on. Uninstalling removes everything.
