The Cause Amp browser extension - fight disinformation online and support the causes that matter to you. Specify the causes you care about. Let other members know about content you see online that deserves to be amplified (or responded to) with a single click. And take supportive actions on social media with a couple clicks. Bad actors and bot networks on social media are pulling society toward the extremes. Most people don’t want to post and comment on social media, and others don’t have the time. Cause Amp levels the playing field by making it easier to advocate for causes you care about. The extension adds a ‘Share to Cause Amp’ button to social media sites, allowing you to notify other members of your causes. The extension also makes it easy to take actions. You select the causes you care about, adjust your notification settings, and then get notifications about high-leverage actions. Actions could be liking a post or comment that is supportive of one of your causes, responding to misinformation with a debunking comment, and more.
