Spill for Omeka S - search and spread content everywhere on the web. Spill puts your Omeka S collection one click away while you work. Open the side panel on any web page, search your instance, and place images, media, and links straight into your CMS, email builder, landing-page tool, or any rich-text field - no downloading, no tab-switching. What you can do: - Search across Items, Media, Site Pages, and Assets in your Omeka S instance. - Open an item to browse every attached media file, and insert or link any one of them. - Narrow results by collection (item set), type (resource class), and a searchable metadata-field filter; sort by relevance, newest, or title. - Preview images, video, audio, and PDFs before you use them. - Insert into the focused editor, copy a ready-to-paste HTML snippet, copy a link, or drag and drop. Choose the size you need: large, medium, square, or original. - Add optional campaign tracking parameters (UTM) to copied and inserted URLs, with the campaign editable per insertion. - Save searches, revisit recent ones, and review your activity in a built-in Reports view — each is kept separately for every instance. - Connect multiple Omeka S instances and switch between them from the side panel. Privacy first: - Spill reads public content only — no API keys or passwords required. - Your instance URLs, searches, and activity stay on your device. Spill talks only to the Omeka S instance(s) you configure and sends nothing to the developer. Requirements: - Chrome or Microsoft Edge 114 or newer (the extension uses the browser side panel). - The web address of an Omeka S instance you want to search. Spill is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Omeka project.
