Sample any color on screen with the eyedropper, copy it as HEX, RGB, or HSL, and save the ones you want to keep. You see a color you want. Getting its value usually means a screenshot, an image editor, and a detour through the color panel. Color Picker uses Chrome's built-in EyeDropper. Click "Pick from Page", click the pixel you want, and you get the value in three formats with a copy button next to each one. WHAT IT DOES - Sample a color with the browser's native eyedropper. Because it is the browser's own tool, it can sample any pixel your screen shows, not just pixels inside a web page. - Read the value as HEX, RGB, and HSL at the same time. All three are computed from the sampled color and shown together. - Copy any of the three formats with one click. - Save colors you want to keep. Saved swatches appear in a grid in the popup. - Click a saved swatch to load it back into the value panel; click the x on a swatch to delete it. - Holds up to 50 saved colors. Duplicates of a color you already saved are ignored. - Press Escape while the eyedropper is open to cancel without picking anything. REQUIREMENTS Chrome 95 or newer. The extension uses the browser's native EyeDropper API and does not ship a fallback; on older versions the button tells you to update rather than failing silently. PRIVACY This extension does not request access to any website. It has one permission — storage — and it uses it to keep your saved swatches on your own computer. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no network request of any kind. No page content is read, no browsing activity is recorded, and no data leaves your device. Uninstalling the extension removes the saved swatches with it.
