See a page's meta tags, Open Graph, and Twitter Card data, plus a live preview of how it shares. One click, nothing sent anywhere. Most social preview tools make you copy a URL into a separate site and wait for it to scan. Meta Inspector reads what's already on the page you're looking at: title and description with live character counts, canonical and robots directives, and the real Open Graph and Twitter Card tags - rendered as an actual preview card, not just a list of raw values. Built for anyone who works with SEO, web development, or digital marketing day to day - checking your own posts or pages before they ship, auditing a client's site, troubleshooting social previews, or just curious what a page is telling search engines and social platforms about itself. Built the same way as Schema Inspector: activeTab only. It sees the page you're on, only for the second you click the icon. No standing access to any site, no signup, no account. Built by Yellowfin Development, a web design and SEO company on Long Island, NY. yfdev.com Common questions What's the difference between this and opengraph.xyz? Sites like that re-fetch your URL fresh from their own server. Meta Inspector reads the page exactly as it's loaded in your own browser right now, including anything added by JavaScript after the initial load. Useful for catching what a fresh fetch might miss. Does it check both Open Graph and Twitter Card tags? Yes. It shows both separately, with a rendered preview card for each, and falls back the same way real platforms do - Twitter Card tags fill in from Open Graph tags when they're missing, matching how X actually resolves a shared link. Will it tell me if something's missing? Yes. No title, no description, a title running long, a missing og:image, no twitter:card set - flagged in plain language, not a raw validator score. Is my data safe? Nothing is collected, logged, or sent anywhere. Everything happens in your browser.
