Restore Maps Tab is a lightweight browser extension that restores a convenient Maps shortcut to the Google Search navigation bar. Search for a place, restaurant, business, landmark, address, or anything else on Google, then click **Maps** to open the same search directly in Google Maps. ## Simple by design Restore Maps Tab has one purpose: restoring quick access to Maps from Google Search. There are no settings to configure and no account is required. ## Privacy-friendly Restore Maps Tab: * Does not collect personal data * Does not collect browsing history * Does not store search queries * Does not use analytics * Does not use tracking * Does not display advertising * Does not communicate with developer-operated servers Your current Google Search query is processed locally in your browser only to create the destination Google Maps link. ## Lightweight The extension uses a small content script and does not request unnecessary browser permissions. ## Compatibility Designed for modern Chromium-based browsers using Manifest V3.
