That's not what they were made for. Use the Link Saver instead and boost your productivity! This Extension allows you to save website's URL in the .link file format on your device. The .link file format can be opened cross platform and allows for an easy and standardized storage and exchange of links. Save a link in just 2 clicks directly from within your browser. The saved .link files can then be opened with a Link Opener Application. Already available for windows (coming soon for macOS, Linux and Mobile). The content of the file can also be accessed without having a dedicated .link opener since its just stored in plain text in a JSON format.
