Hide spam, copied posts and impression-zombie replies on X with local rules, restore controls and safe blocking. X Spam Cleaner helps you read X without wading through copied replies, suspicious-script spam, emoji-only noise, and impression-farming accounts. It works directly on x.com and twitter.com, automatically handling matching posts while keeping you in control. WHAT IT DOES • Detects suspicious scripts outside Japanese and Latin text • Finds copied posts shared by different accounts • Matches built-in spam phrases and your own muted words • Optionally filters non-Japanese display names or verified accounts • Supports versioned remote JSON rules with safe local fallback • Protects your own accounts, allowed accounts, and conversation starters CONTROL WITHOUT SURPRISES Balanced mode is the default. Matching posts can be collapsed with a clear reason and a Restore button, dimmed, or hidden. Pause only the current tab, disable the compact page control, change its corner, or exclude X paths where you do not want filtering. Advanced searches using from:, to:, filter:, list:, url:, since:, or until: are never rewritten. SAFE BLOCKING Optional block buttons appear only on search and post-detail pages. They open X’s native block menu and confirmation dialog; the extension never confirms a block automatically. LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY Post text, DMs, search terms, browsing history, allowed-account lists, and muted words are not uploaded. Remote configuration only delivers filtering rules. Settings can be exported and restored as JSON. Includes English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
