Put a fog on top of the noise on X. Remember why you came, write first, then let the rest of it come in one Esc at a time. You didn't open X to scroll. You opened it to say something — and then the feed got you. xFog turns x.com pure black except for one thing: the box where you write. Post first. And then if you actually want the rest, press esc — each press lifts one layer of fog: composer → timeline → articles → messages → notifications → everything Every fresh page load starts at black. Nothing is blocked. Everything is deliberate and just styling: — Links you open on purpose always work: a post, a profile, a DM conversation, search. — A post opens as just the post. Its replies wait one esc away. — The tab goes quiet too: no "(4)" unread count in the title, no red dot on the favicon. — While you're writing, esc never triggers X's "discard post?" dialog. Your draft is safe. One click on the extension icon turns xFog off entirely (red ✕) or back on (green ✓). No accounts. No settings. No data collected — xFog makes zero network requests. It's a distraction-free, focus-first way to use X without blocking Twitter: you decide when the timeline exists. Made by @jpfraneto · xfog.lat
