Save links to nuru from your browser. Works alongside the nuru iOS and macOS apps. nuru saves the things you want to keep, wherever you find them. nuru is a reading and note-taking companion that helps you keep, organize, and come back to the articles, videos, and links you care about. This extension is the desktop companion to the nuru iOS and macOS app — install it once, sign in with Apple, and every "save for later" click from your laptop lands in the same place as your saves from your phone. WHAT IT DOES • One-click save. Click the toolbar icon on any page, optionally add a note and pick a folder, hit Save. Done. • No lost saves. Save while offline on a plane or in a tunnel — the extension queues and uploads everything when you reconnect. • Organized the way you already use nuru. Folders you created on your phone show up here, complete with their colors and icons. • Seamless identity. Sign in with Apple, and you're in the same nuru account as your phone — not a separate web account to manage. • Private by default. Your browsing history, open tabs, and page content stay in your browser. The only pages nuru's servers ever receive are the ones you explicitly save. DESIGNED TO FEEL INVISIBLE • The popup appears instantly when you click the toolbar icon — no loading spinner blocking the Save button. • Page metadata (title, preview image) fills in progressively as it arrives, but you can save the moment you want. nuru's AI on your phone fills in anything missing after the fact. • If the page you clicked Save on is a browser settings page, a file, or another place extensions can't reach, nuru tells you that plainly instead of failing silently. • Full keyboard support: Tab through the form, Enter to save, Esc to close. Every control has an accessible name for screen readers. WHAT NURU DOES NOT COLLECT • No page content. Ever. • No browsing history. • No tracking of the pages you visit. • The extension never reads a page until you click Save — and even then only the metadata you'd see by inspecting the HTML yourself: the title, the Open Graph preview, and the favicon. Usage analytics are on by default and can be switched off any time from the Options page. They record which features get used and where saves fail — extension version, browser and OS major version, connectivity status, and a fixed list of lifecycle events. They never include URLs, page titles, notes, or folder names, and they go to nuru's own backend rather than an outside analytics company. The full privacy disclosure is linked from the Options page.
