Add a transaction to your own self-hosted Firefly III from the browser toolbar. No browsing-history access. Quick-add for Firefly III puts a compact add-transaction form in your browser toolbar. Log a withdrawal, deposit, or transfer to your own Firefly III server in one click, without opening the full app. Built for people who self-host Firefly III and want a clean, English, privacy-respecting way to capture a transaction the moment it happens, instead of broad-permission add-ons that ask to read your browsing history. What it does - Add a withdrawal, deposit, or transfer from the toolbar. - Source and destination pickers are populated live from your accounts; new expense and revenue accounts are created for you by name. - Optional category, and a date that defaults to today. - Remembers your last type and account. - Works with any Firefly III server over its v1 REST API. Least-privilege by design - Requests only the "storage" permission, plus access to the one Firefly III server you enter, granted at runtime. - No access to your browsing history, your tabs, or any other website. No background worker. - Your server URL and access token are stored locally in your browser and are sent only to your own Firefly III server. Your financial data is sent only to your own server and is never sent to the developer or any third party. No analytics, no telemetry. - Small, dependency-free, and readable, so you can audit every line. Setup 1. In Firefly III, open Options, then Profile, then OAuth, and create a Personal Access Token. 2. Open the extension's Settings, enter your Firefly III URL and token, and approve access to that one server. Made by Vida Solutions, Inc. Learn more at https://www.vidasolutions.io.
