See how close your cart is to Korea's duty-free limit before you buy, with an estimated customs duty if you go over. You add one more bottle to the cart, the order quietly crosses the duty-free limit, and the first you hear about it is a customs bill after the parcel lands. This extension shows the limit while you are still on the page, so going over is a decision instead of a surprise. It reads the price on the product page or the subtotal in the cart and draws a gauge against Korea's personal-import de-minimis limit: US$200 for parcels shipped from the United States under list clearance, US$150 otherwise. Under the limit you see exactly how much headroom is left. Over it, the gauge turns red and estimates the duty using the simplified tariff rate for the item category you pick. Why the category picker matters Korea does not charge a flat rate on over-limit personal imports. It applies a single blended simplified rate that differs per category, so clothing and footwear land around 25 percent while toys land around 18 percent. Pick the category once per store and the estimate follows it. The rates built into the extension are approximations of Korea's simplified tariff schedule, which is amended from time to time, so treat every figure as a rough estimate rather than a quote. What it does • Draws a duty-free headroom gauge on the product page and in the cart • Estimates the duty with a per-category simplified tariff rate, shown in dollars and won • Warns that supplements, food and functional cosmetics are excluded from list clearance, so they never show a green gauge and never get the US$200 allowance • Lets you choose whether shipping counts toward the limit, because list clearance is measured on the goods price while the dutiable value adds freight • Compares directly in dollars on dollar-priced stores, and marks won-priced pages as converted with the exchange rate you enter • Runs entirely on your device — no account, no server, no sign-in • Collapses to a small badge, and stays hidden entirely if your import country is not Korea Every number is an estimate for reference. The actual duty and whether a parcel clears are decided by customs, and this extension never suggests splitting an order to dodge assessment. Works on iHerb, Amazon and AliExpress product and cart pages. This extension is not created or endorsed by Amazon.
