Click the extension icon on any product page to instantly see: - A sustainability score (0-100%) based on materials, durability, end of life, and packaging - Detailed dimension breakdowns showing exactly how a product stacks up - A more sustainable alternative when one exists in our database - The reasoning behind each score HOW IT WORKS 1. Browse any online store as you normally would 2. Click the Buy Less Trash icon in your toolbar 3. The extension reads the current page URL and checks it against our database 4. If we don't have the product yet, you can submit it for analysis — our AI evaluates the product's materials, durability, recyclability, and packaging 5. Get back a score and a greener alternative SCORING Every product is scored across four dimensions: - Materials: What is it made of? Recycled, organic, and natural materials score highest. - Durability: How long will it last? Repairable, reusable products with strong warranties score highest. - End of Life: What happens when you're done? Recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable products score highest. - Packaging: How is it shipped? Minimal, recyclable packaging scores highest.
